2011 Siesta Scripture Memory Team: Verse 2

January 15, 2011

These past few weeks I’ve been memorizing Psalm 112:1-3….here it is from memory:

“Praise the Lord.  How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying His commands.  Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.  They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever.”

So far, no one has asked me to say it.  Feel free to hold me accountable…ASK!!  Here’s the verses for the next 2 weeks….I will eventually have the whole chapter memorized.

Psalm 112: 4-5  Light shines in the darkness for the godly.  They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.  Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly.

It’s not too late for you to join in.  Go here to see how it works and join in the challenge!!
